“You see a change in the lab work when unhealthy food choices are made versus the healthier choices I can make now, at the Canton Food Bank. The impact of these intentional choices has lowered the stress in my life, and in the lives of those around me.” – CCHF Community Partner/Canton Food Bank client

“My goal is to leverage my degree to continue helping those in need of affordable, quality, patient-centered care.” – CCHF Scholar

Dear Canton Neighbor, Friend, Business Owner:

Canton Community Health Fund, Inc,’s legacy dates back to 1918 when the Canton Visiting Nurse Association (CVNA), served the physical and mental health, safety and well-being of our community.

Today, we both honor and continue CVNA’s commitment to Canton residents by offering Community Partner Grants to area non-profit organizations, who support a wide variety of critical programming and life-changing initiatives, that enhance the health, safety and well-being of Canton’s neighbors, friends and family.

Whether it’s Canton Food Bank offering farm-fresh vegetables to enhance food security; upgrading equipment used by Canton’s 1st Responders; curative therapy for caregivers at SpiritHorse Therapeutic Riding Center; organic meal alternatives during a health crisis from Healing Meals Community Project; Canton Fuel Bank keeping residents warm in the winter months; or creative and recreational programming for individuals with disabilities at FAVARH and Summit Adaptive Sports, Inc., Canton Community Health Fund believes that a 360-degree holistic view to keeping our community healthy and safe leads to wellness, which in turn leads to well-being.

Canton Community Health Fund, Inc. also celebrates the spirit of CVNA’s commitment to the future by funding residents pursuing education and careers in healthcare or public safety/service through our Dr. Diters Legacy Scholarship for graduating high-school seniors, and our Pay It Forward Scholarship for those individuals already advancing in their education and/or careers.

We invite you to follow the remarkable stories of our Community Partners and Scholars on our social media, at CantonCommunityHealthFund.org.
