If you are a non-profit organization seeking to deepen your commitment to our neighbors, friends & family, we invite you to learn more about the Canton Community Health Fund, Inc; whose legacy of partnerships and collaboration dates back for over a century.
As a CCHF Community Partner, you would be the critical ‘boots on the ground’ whose work & service we fund, promote, collaborate with & celebrate.
WHO CAN APPLY
State of CT-certified Non-Profit organizations, in good standing, who serve the Canton community.

WHEN TO APPLY
Community Partner Grant applications are accepted once a year, beginning March 1st. All applications must be received no later than April 30th, of the grant year, in order to be considered.
WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM COMMUNITY PARTNER GRANT AVAILABLE?
Grant requests are limited to a maximum of $6,000.
PURPOSES FOR WHICH FUNDING MAY BE GRANTED
CCHF’s Grants invest in community services, programming, education, public safety equipment and/or other activities that directly and significantly impact the health & safety of Canton residents and which lead to enhanced well-being for the community at large.
PURPOSES FOR WHICH FUNDING WILL NOT BE GRANTED
CCHF does not approve Grants for: sectarian or religious activities; individuals; for-profit organizations; paid or volunteer staff expenses; capital expenditures or repairs; equipment not related to public-wide safety; organizational administration or operations; marketing materials/campaigns; facility fees; endowments or memorials.
CRITERIA FOR EVALUATING COMMUNITY PARTNER GRANT APPLICATIONS
Applications are evaluated by CCHF’s Board of Directors, based upon how closely they compliment CCHF’s Mission and Strategic Goals. All applicants will be notified, in writing, of the Board’s final decision by June of the granting year.
USE OF GRANT FUNDS
All CCHF Community Partner Grant funding must be used exclusively for the specific purpose(s) detailed in your Application. If you are unable to use the funds for that intended purpose(s), the funds must be returned to CCHF, no later than November 30 of the granting year. Failure to properly use or return undistributed funds will disqualify the recipient from applying for future funding.
DUE DATE: IMPACT REPORTS
All Grant recipients are required to complete and return the online Community Partner Impact Report no later than November 30th of the granting year, in order to be considered for future funding.
