The Directors of the Canton Community Health Fund (CCHF) announced recipients of the foundation’s 2012 grant awards to various nonprofit Canton organizations. A total of nine grants were awarded, each meeting the goals of benefiting the health and well-being of  the residents of Canton.
Grants were awarded to the following programs and groups:

CANTON, CT., June 21, 2010 – The Directors of the Canton Community Health Fund announced at the Canton High School awards breakfast the names of this year’s recipients of the Dr. Diters Memorial Scholarship. The Dr. Diters Memorial Scholarship provides annual financial grants to residents of Canton based on merit, scholarship and community commitment.  To qualify for this prestigious award, a recipient must be either a graduating senior of Canton High School, or a resident of the Town of Canton, who is planning to pursue a career in a health related field.

CANTON, CT., September 21, 2009 – The Directors of the Canton Community Health Fund (CCHF) announced today the awards of grant money to fund special programs at two Canton organizations.  Both the Canon Public Library and Focus on Canton received checks totaling over $6,000 to assist in funding two different programs that benefit the residents of Canton.  These grants are two of a total of nine that the CCHF will award this year.
